French space company Unseenlabs says it has successfully launched its BRO-19 satellite, expanding its space-based radio-frequency (RF) detection capabilities for maritime monitoring.

In an email update, the company said BRO-19 launched on March 30, 2026, at 4:02 a.m. PT aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-16 rideshare mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, with integration support from Exolaunch.

Unseenlabs positions its RF detection technology as a way to support maritime surveillance by identifying and analysing emissions from vessels at sea, including where information is “not declared or is unreliable”. The company said BRO-19 would strengthen its monitoring and analysis capacity.

“With BRO-19, we continue the deployment of our constellation. This successful launch marks a new milestone for Unseenlabs. Our goal remains the same: to help our clients better understand activities at sea, even when information is not declared or is unreliable,” said Clément Galic, CEO and co-founder of Unseenlabs.

The company described BRO-19 as its 20th satellite, as it continues building out its RF-focused constellation.
