Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) has entered into a partnership with Digantara Industries, an India-based space surveillance and intelligence company, to co-develop tools for Space Situational Awareness (SSA) in support of Singapore’s national space efforts.
Announced on the sidelines of Space Summit 2026, the collaboration will focus on developing, testing and evaluating software applications designed to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of satellite tracking. The work will support the National Space Agency of Singapore as it seeks to enhance the safety and sustainability of its space operations.
Under the partnership, Digantara will contribute its expertise in space- and ground-based sensing infrastructure, including the integration of sensor data with artificial intelligence-driven analytics. The two organisations said the collaboration would bring new technical perspectives to the emerging SSA domain.
The tools developed through the partnership are intended to provide a more comprehensive operational view of Singapore’s satellites, helping to support long-term operability in an increasingly congested orbital environment.
DSTA said the collaboration reflects Singapore’s broader efforts to strengthen space situational awareness capabilities as satellite traffic and debris risks continue to grow globally. Digantara will contribute technical expertise and sensing capabilities to support these objectives as part of the joint development programme.
