Gilmour Space says its first satellite bus, ElaraSat, is readying for launch.
ElaraSat is a 100-kilogram satellite platform built for diverse missions in orbit. On the first MMS1 mission, it will carry a hyperspectral imager from our partners at CSIRO, designed to monitor water quality from space.
The satellite deployment will be a major milestone for sovereign capability in Australia and part of Gilmour’s mission to make space more accessible to global customers.
Exolaunch will ferry the satellite into space on the upcoming X Transporter-14 mission, currently planned for June 21, 2025.
