The Malaysian Space Agency and Sunway University has signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in space science and related technologies. The two parties signed the MOU in Malaysia on May 8, 2025.
Among other outcomes, the MOU covers research to achieve sustainable development goals, use of research project facilities, sharing of materials, information and publications, implementation of training programs, technology transfer and human capital development, and promotional programs.
This signing further expands the space agency’s collaborative network with Malaysia’s higher education institutions to explore opportunities to develop, support and strengthen research activities in the field of space science and technology.
