UK’s 2030 space industry ambitions and the road ahead

We’re in Singapore and speaking with Harshbir Sangha, Director of Growth, UK Space Agency and with the Featured Country for GSTC 2023 being the United Kingdom.

The United Kingdom (UK) has been very active to support the development and growth of its sector for many years. Space is moving into a new commercial era but still needs Governments to drive and support growth; how do we best invest public money to deliver growth? The UK has an end-to-end offer for space enterprises. We have a renowned science and technology sector, a strong talent pipeline, and a leading satellite manufacturing and operations capability. These competences have come together to create world leading space clusters in the UK; the next challenge is to galvanise deeper cooperation and create an effective and resilient space ecosystem that can support global growth.
