CisLunar Industries today announced at IAC 2022 in Paris, France, the signing of a new MoU with Sierra Space.
The MOU provides that both companies will work together to support and enable what Sierra Space is building in space with the Dream Chaser spaceplane, Orbital Reef, LIFEhabitat, and other innovative technologies currently in development.
“We are proud to sign today’s Memorandum of Understanding with Sierra Space,” says CisLunar Industries CEO Gary Calnan, CFA. “Together, our companies will write the next chapter of humanity’s presence in space. Pairing our metal processing technology with Sierra Space’s Dream Chaser, in-space technologies, and infrastructure, will fortify our long-term in-space capabilities and bring our collective vision another step closer to reality.”
Ken Shields, Sr. Director at Sierra Space added: “This MOU will help advance both Sierra Space’s and CisLunar Industries’ joint capabilities and provide a new product and service line for Sierra Space to offer to its space station customers.”
