Australian Companies Form Satellite Analytics and AI Partnership

Southern Cross Space and Quintesens have teamed up to deploy satellite analytics and artificial intelligence into the oil and gas industries. The two Australian companies announced the partnership on June 11, 2024.

“Our partnership creates workflow environments that seamlessly integrate various space-borne data and analytics into a dashboard interface to provide unparalleled insights and flexibility for our clients in the oil and gas sector,” said Southern Cross Space Co-founder and CEO Peter Kinne.

Brisbane-based Southern Cross Space is a space satellite design and manufacturing company, while Gold Coast-based Quintesens is a geospatial decision-support systems company.

Southern Cross wants to leverage Quintesens’ expertise to enhance its space-to-business offerings as it works to become Australia’s top 50kg satellite manufacturer.
