South Australia’s defence and space agencies are due to attend three major international industry events in April, as the state promotes its capabilities to overseas partners and primes.
Defence SA and the South Australian Space Industry Centre will be represented at Undersea Defence Technology (UDT) in London, Sea Air Space in Maryland, and the 41st Space Symposium in Colorado Springs.
The South Australian Government said the visits are intended to support international engagement across defence and space, and to reinforce the state’s role in the AUKUS partnership with the United States and United Kingdom. South Australia has been identified as the build location for the SSN-AUKUS submarines.
The schedule comes as Australian industry and government agencies seek to expand supply-chain links and workforce capacity tied to long-term shipbuilding and advanced technology programs. For local companies, attendance at offshore shows can also shape export opportunities and visibility with multinational integrators.
