Titomic Enters Space Act Agreement with NASA

ASX-listed additive manufacturing company Titomic has signed a Space Act Agreement with NASA to test and evaluate components produced using its cold spray technology.
Under the agreement, NASA will assess characteristics of parts manufactured using Titomic’s proprietary cold spray process for potential aerospace applications. The evaluation is focused on technical performance in demanding environments, although specific testing parameters were not disclosed.
Cold spray additive manufacturing differs from traditional metal 3D printing methods by bonding powdered materials at high velocity without melting them. The process is designed to produce structural components while avoiding heat-related distortion or material degradation.
Titomic said the collaboration provides an opportunity to demonstrate how its manufacturing approach performs under aerospace conditions, where weight, durability and structural reliability are critical.
Space Act Agreements are commonly used by NASA to enable collaboration, technical assessment and information exchange with industry partners. The arrangement does not necessarily involve funding or procurement commitments.
Titomic said the outcome of the initial testing phase may inform potential future collaboration in aerospace and defence-related supply chains.
