Momentum is building for Space Summit 2026, with six more key Singapore government agencies confirmed as official supporting organisations. In addition to the Economic Development Board (EDB) and the Office for Space Technology & Industry (OSTIn), the Summit is now endorsed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau (SECB), and SGInnovate.
This growing support from key government and industry leaders, including confirmed participation from overseas space agencies such as the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB), German Aerospace Center (DLR), Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA), Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA), and the United Arab Emirates Space Agency (UAESA), cements the Summit’s role as a critical global platform for the space domain.
The premier two-day conference and exhibition, taking place 2-3 February 2026 at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands will convene policymakers, space agencies, investors and innovators from around the world to chart a course for the responsible and inclusive growth of the global space economy – a sector projected by McKinsey to soar to US$1.8 trillion by 2035.
Strong government and industry support
The participation of Singapore agencies such as CAAS, DSTA, EDB, IMDA, MPA, OSTIn and SGInnovate reflects how space technology is vital to so many industries in Singapore and across the region. Space Summit 2026 will explore critical areas where space intersects with traditional sectors—from helping to manage air and sea operations, to establishing the digital and regulatory foundations for next-generation connectivity. Space-based innovation can drive smarter infrastructure, secure networks and sustainable growth.
The Summit will also explore how technologies developed for commercial space can be used in the defence sector and vice versa.
Meanwhile, Singapore technology and engineering company ST Engineering, a leader in advanced Earth-observation satellites and geospatial analytics, has joined as a Founding Partner.
The Summit has also attracted a growing list of participating companies. In addition to key primes, companies from growing space markets in Asia, Europe and Middle East will also attend – across the space value chain ranging from launch, manufacturing, subsystems, Artifical Intelligence (AI) and analytics, and more. Participating companies include: Airbus, Capella Space, Cesium Astro, Eartheye Space, ELT Group, Glenair, Leonardo, Leolabs, LightHaus Photonics, MEDs Technologies, Perigee, Pixxel Space, SATORO, Space42, SpeQtral, Synspective, TME Systems, Transcelestial, Umbra Space, and Zero Error Systems.
Leck Chet Lam, Managing Director of Experia Events, says: “Singapore is the natural convening point for businesses and markets from all over the world. Space Summit 2026 has received a positive response from private and public sector leaders in the global space industry. We have put together a very comprehensive conference programme that covers the different segments of the space industry as well as current and emerging trends.”
“The support from these diverse government entities is indicative of the breadth of the space industry. Space Summit 2026 is facilitating meaningful international collaboration that will help to build an innovative and sustainable space ecosystem across the region and the world.”
