AICRAFT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Perth-based Space Angel and Adelaide-based SABRN Tech to integrate its low-power, compact, high-performance computing systems.
AICRAFT’s technologies will support the Australian Space Super Corridor, in what it says will be the world’s first green space port developed by Space Angel, and E-LifePods, transportable containerised ‘hospitals’ to deliver critical care and clinical support in Defence, civilian (e.g., energy, mining sectors, and regional locations), and extra-terrestrial environments (e.g., lunar-surface and Mars-surface) developed by SABRN Tech.
The partnership will leverage from AICRAFT’s world-class computing solutions for space and industrial applications, Space Angel’s competencies in large-scale Internet-of-Things devices and network management and SABRN’s expertise in system-of-systems approach to Defence and civilian healthcare.
The MoU was signed at the Indo-Pacific Space and Earth Conference on 24 October 2023 in Perth by the AICRAFT’s Co-Founder and CEO Dr Tony Scoleri, Space Angel’s CEO and Founder Ram Kuppusamy and SABRN Tech’s Chief Operating Officer Ajay Chandra.
The CEO of AICRAFT Dr Tony Scoleri said, “We are extremely excited about this three-way partnership that will utilise not only our edge devices but also low-power high-performance computing servers. The projects we will be working on together are looking to reach the stars and have counterpart solutions back on Earth for remote healthcare and autonomous operations”.
The CEO of Space Angel Ram Kuppusamy commented, “The Australian Space Super Corridor will manage a green space port by tracking operations and sustainability metrics of millions and millions of IoT devices, buildings, transports, renewable energy grid and other resources. This will be enabled by Artificial Intelligence and robotics with remote operations which aligns with AICRAFT’s product range”.
The CEO of SABRN Dr Abhilash Chandra said, “We are thrilled to bring in AICRAFT’s edge products and Space Angel’s digital know-how to implement our portable healthcare solutions which will ensure the wellbeing of staff working remotely at the Australian Space Super Corridor”.
