IAC 2023 host, Azercosmos, together with the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) held a meeting related to the International Astronautical Congress 2023 (IAC 2023) with the Diplomatic Embassy representatives.
The purpose of the conference was to spread around the world the importance for Azerbaijan of hosting the IAC in October 2-6, 2023, as well as discussing possible opportunities of cooperation with embassies and diplomatic missions on this matter.
The IAC in Baku will be a platform for networking and sharing space related challenges among the member and non-member countries of the Federation. This will strengthen the space dialogue between countries, explore ways to solve important issues of global interest, and discuss the possibilities and prospects of space technologies.
Japan, Mexico, the Kingdom of Belgium, Argentina, China, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Austria, Israel among other countries’ official representatives participated in this meeting.
The IAC 2023 will be devoted to the theme “Global Challenges and Opportunities: Let’s Give Space a Chance” and leading organizations in the space field – USA (NASA), France (CNES), Airbus, Boeing, Japan (JAXA), Turkey (TUA) and more than 6.000 guests, including representatives of many other countries have already confirmed their attendance.
